What actually goes wrong on the supply side.
Built from the floor, not a market-research deck.
A buffer that ran dry, a truck that's late, a part that's at the wrong dock. Every minute the line is stopped has a number, and it's big.
Heavy coils, awkward machinery, freight that needs a clamp or a crane. The wrong floor doesn't store your freight — it stalls it.
Staged builds, recall sorts, documented disposition — work that has to be exact and papered, because "close enough" comes back to bite.
We watched a paper-roll job die over seventeen days because nobody asked "do you have a clamp truck?" until day nine. Four follow-ups, then the customer walked. A missing machine kills a deal everything else was ready for — so on every Vexus floor, equipment is verified before the flag goes up, and your heavy freight is routed only where the machine that handles it already exists.
Every floor that touches your freight has earned The Standard.
Equipment verified on the floor, insurance and WSIB current, a named lead on every shift — before the first pallet, not after.
The services that keep the line moving.
Manufacturing logistics, answered straight.
Can you hold JIT buffer stock near my line?
Yes — positions by the pallet on certified floors near the 401/427 corridors, with in-and-out coordinated so the line stays fed without you carrying a warehouse you don't need. We flex the buffer up and down with your production schedule.
Do you handle heavy or awkward freight?
Only where the equipment is verified for it. Clamp trucks, the racking that holds the weight, the right machine on the floor — we check it before routing, because heavy freight at the wrong facility is a stalled job, not a stored one.
My line is going down — how fast can you move?
Urgent buffer and cross-dock are what the desk runs. Tell us what's short and the window; we'll tell you straight whether we can feed the line in time before you commit. Minutes matter and we treat them that way.
Can you support a recall or sequencing job?
Yes — receiving, sorting, sequencing, and documented disposition for recalls or staged builds, with photos and counts you can trust. Tell us the rules and we follow them to the letter.
